The Exchange Brewery + Golden Ale available in LCBO

The latest release from The Exchange Brewery, + Golden Ale, is now available at LCBO stores.

It’s a Belgian Strong Golden Ale fermented with the brewery’s house Belgian Ale yeast and aged in French oak barrels from Pearl Morissette Winery, with brettanomyces, for three months.

The beer, which won a Gold Medal at the 2017 New York International Beer Competition, is said to be dry and easy drinking despite its complexity.

The brewery explained: “+ Golden Ale blends together notes of pineapple, coconut and vanilla, complemented with layers of funk and subtle spices of pepper and clove.

“The brew is an excellent cross-over beer for wine drinkers, and pairs beautifully with flavourful cheeses and seafood, such as oysters and salmon.”

Robin Ridesic, founder and CEO at The Exchange Brewery, said: “The + Golden Ale is dry and has a subtle hop profile which is appealing to both wine drinkers and those new to the craft beer space.

“The versatility of this beer makes it an interesting addition to LCBO shelves and we are confident it will be well received.”
