Broke ‘n Rode Brewing Co seeks investment

100 Mile House, BC Canada-based Broke ‘n Rode Brewing Co is looking for an investor to help aid expansion, or a buyer for its brewery.

The brewery is seeking 50% investment or for an interested party to purchase the business for $320,000.

The company, which opened in April 2016 also has a licensed tasting room and offers gifts, growler fills, bottle sales.

It explained that it needs to increase production to reach other markets. Despite our trading population (14,000 plus) it said that it primarily get travellers right off the busy provincial highway out front.

“Locals are not craft beer fans yet. We have requests from many areas for product but we are out of capital to expand production or hire help,” they said.

According to Broke ‘n Rode Brewing Co, it is in a unique older building with tons of character and a solid affordable lease. They have a 3.6hl (3bbl) brew house and all the necessary goodies.

The brewery went on to explain: “Lots of options to make a deal. Many reasons for us to stay if the right investor comes along but many reasons to back away (including medical, financial, and family issues) if the right purchaser comes along.  Our customers love our concept, our building and decor, our brand and most of all our beer.

“If you ever wanted to take the leap and don’t mind relocating this would be a very affordable way to get into the Craft Beer industry.

“As a 50% investor you would be helping to increase production with a larger brewhouse and increased staffing. As a new owner you would want to budget for upgrades and more staff. We can train and all that hard work to set up is already under our belt.”
