There is a demand for educated, trained brewers as a result of the expansion of craft breweries worldwide.  The Brewing and Brewery Operations diploma offered by Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is the only one of its kind in British Columbia.  It was also the only institution in Canada to receive recognition for excellence in brewing education from the Master Brewers Association when it ran its evaluation and recognition program.  KPU’s extensive, intensive curriculum includes more than 950 hours of education, including real-world, hands-on training in our award-winning brewery.
